The scholarship will cover one student’s full tuition, for four years, at any accredited college or university in the US. See www.shofur.com for more details.

When asked about the best part of owning his own business, CEO Armir Harris says, “The most rewarding part has been giving back.” After immigrating from Albania to the United States at a very young age, Armir made a point to pursue his education full-force after being taught by his mother how valuable education can be. “Education was very important, and I don’t think I would be here today without the education my mom gave us.”

Armir went on to attend Boston University and UCLA before starting SHOFUR, which now services over 200 cities worldwide. “It wasn’t just hard work; it was also being in the right place at the right time, so this is my way of ‘paying it forward—’” and that’s what SHOFUR’s scholarship is all about.

Eligibility requirements are:

-Must be a graduating high-school senior or current college student

-Must create and submit a personal SHOFUR Scholarship Story via social media. In lieu of an application essay, students are asked to submit a video to YouTube explaining their background, who they are, and how the SHOFUR scholarship can help them develop their skills.
