Why Rent a Bus in Las Vegas?
Casinos, neon lights, night clubs, and grand spectacles—these are just a few of Las Vegas’ favorite things! If you’re planning the party of the year, then you’ve come to the right place. Las Vegas is renowned for opulence, indulgence and entertainment, and you’ll have no shortage of a good time in Sin City.
Las Vegas is one of the nation’s loudest, brightest, and busiest cities, and it has the traffic to match. Both locals and tourists crowd the streets and sidewalks from The Strip to Summerlin. When traveling the city and hitting every stop on your itinerary, a private charter bus rental is one of your best choices for getting around. You’ll get sleek, safe, and reliable transportation for you and your whole group and a professional bus driver to lead the way.
With a private charter bus rental, you’ll benefit from multiple amenities designed for comfort and convenience. Choose from various types of buses, including 56-passenger charter buses, quick shuttle buses, and speedy 12-passenger sprinters.
Large charter buses have plenty of space for storage and are best for long journeys. They come equipped with reclining seats, onboard restrooms, TV screens and a DVD player, and power outlets in every seat.
Minibuses and shuttles are great for quick inner-city tours or trips and airport pick-ups, and often come with free WiFi and extra space for luggage. To top it all off, every bus is assigned a dedicated bus driver. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy your Vegas trip in style and comfort with a professional at the helm.
Group Transportation in Las Vegas
All things considered, there are multiple ways to travel around Las Vegas. Think about the needs of your group and type of trip you are planning when deciding on the best group transportation option for you. Here are all of your options for getting around Sin City:
Las Vegas Monorail: If your itinerary takes you up and down the Las Vegas Strip, the monorail will get you where you need to go. It stops at seven points including MGM Grand, Bally’s, and The Las Vegas Convention Center. However, the monorail doesn’t run at night, so you’ll need to arrange separate transportation if you’re traveling after dark. It also may be challenging to keep your group all together if you’re with more than four or five people.
The Deuce: The Deuce is Las Vegas’ public bus transportation system. The Deuce runs 24/7, so you’re never without a ride. However, you’ll need to plan your travel around The Deuce’s schedule, not your own, and your destinations will be restricted to spots along the bus routes.
Taxis. Taxis are the main form of transportation to get around Las Vegas, and offer a lot of flexibility for traveling. Cabs are available at all hours of the day and aren’t restricted to routes or train tracks. However, the cost is unpredictable and can vary according to traffic and the time of year. Cost may also add up if you need to call for multiple rides to fit your whole group.
Rideshares. Ridesharing with services like Uber and Lyft is a convenient and affordable option for transportation. It’s simple and easy to use an app to call a ride and many hotels and casinos on The Strip have designated pick-up and drop-off spots. However, you may be subject to surge pricing during major events or prime hours. Also, the costs of multiple rideshares can add up, and it may be difficult to stay together as a group if you have more than five or six people.
Private charter bus. Renting a private motorcoach or minibus is the easiest way to travel with a large group. You can comfortably transport up to 50 people with ease anywhere around town and according to your own schedule. A private charter bus runs on your time and itinerary, and you also work with a personal, professional bus driver to ensure a safe and reliable ride. However, the price of private transportation can be costly, so you may want to split the cost amongst passengers. The cost per person is typically more affordable than a day’s worth of taxi fares and provides passengers with comfortable and convenient travel.

Las Vegas Casino Hopping on The Strip
If you’re writing your Las Vegas bucket list, a casino hop on The Strip ought to be number one! Everywhere you look will be sensory overload (in the best way possible), so it’s best to do your research and make a plan to see the sights that intrigue you the most. Plan to visit a number of the city’s most famous and popular casinos and landmarks like the Fountains of Bellagio, the canals at The Venetian, The Volcano at The Mirage, and the SkyPod at The Strat—and honestly, this is only the beginning.
The Las Vegas Strip is approximately 4 miles of resort hotels, casinos, restaurants, and shopping destinations. Unless you have very comfortable shoes and patience for rallying an excited crowd, we don’t recommend exploring by foot. While the monorail can get you anywhere on the Strip in minutes, you’ll need to carefully plan according to its schedule and stop locations, and it may be challenging to keep the group together. With a charter bus rental, you can plan the perfect, customized casino hop for you and your group on your own schedule. Here are some of the most popular casinos on the Strip you may want to add to your itinerary:
Mandalay Bay

Our Favorite Group-Friendly Destinations in Las Vegas
Shofur is no stranger to group trips in Las Vegas. We’ve learned a few things about where the group-friendly destinations and hot spots are around town, and are happy to help you plan your next trip or event! Read on to learn about our favorite places to visit with fifteen-to-fifty of your closest friends.
And when it comes to parking your bus rental, you’re in luck. Las Vegas is a popular destination for RVs and oversized-vehicle traffic, so many of the resorts and convention centers on the Strip offer diverse parking options. If you’re planning a multi-day trip, try to choose a resort with dedicated oversized-vehicle parking. However, if you’re just in town for a day-trip, call ahead to ask if a resort will accommodate parking for a fee. We recommend contacting Circus Circus Hotel, Mandalay Bay, Bally’s, or Caesar’s Palace to ask about parking your charter bus rental.
Bellagio Hotel and Casino

Add The Bellagio to your custom casino hop or make plans to host an unforgettable group dinner at one of its many restaurants like Harvest by Roy Ellamar or Wolfgang Puck’s Spago. You can also host your wedding ceremony in the Fountain Courtyard, or hold a corporate conference in the 45,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom.

Break away from the bustle of the Strip and head to Red Rock Canyon, an incredible outdoor destination for camping, hiking, and rock climbing. Load up a charter bus rental and take advantage of the large, panoramic windows during the 13-mile scenic drive through the canyon.

Also, please note there is no cell phone service within Red Rock Canyon. If you plan to be dropped off and picked up, make sure to pre-arrange exact times and locations with your bus driver.

Fremont Street Experience
Good for: Tours, Social Celebrations
The Fremont Street Experience is a five-block entertainment hub in the historic downtown of Las Vegas. The centerpiece of the district is the Viva Vision screen, the world’s largest video screen which features free light shows every night of the week. This is a great spot to stop the bus and let the group wander free from an itinerary.
For those looking to press their luck, they can spin slots at Binion’s Gambling Hall and Four Queens, or enjoy the iconic SlotZilla, a 14-story slot-machine-themed zip line! For folks looking to spend their winnings and keep their feet on the ground, Fremont Street is home to museums, breweries, shops and free live music to enjoy. To round everyone up at the end of the visit, plan a group dinner at Redwood Steakhouse or Triple 7 Restaurant & Microbrewery.
Bus Tip: Coordinate with your driver to be picked up and dropped off curbside at Fremont Street. The Fremont Street Experience doesn’t publicize any reserved parking spots for charter buses, so call ahead to ask the venue if they can suggest a lot nearby.

Hoover Dam
Good for: Field Trips, Tours, Weddings, Corporate Conferences, Social Celebrations
The historic Hoover Dam is located on the Nevada-Arizona border less than an hour away from Las Vegas, and is a great destination for a unique day trip. The Hoover Dam is famous for holding back the Colorado River and forming Lake Mead, and it draws nearly 1 million visitors every year. Many folks simply take in the view as they drive across, but you can plan a trip to stop and really soak it in, or even embark on a guided tour.
The Visitor Center includes an exhibit gallery with artwork and educational displays, and the Penstock Viewing Platform shows off the massive water pipes belonging to this marvel in engineering. School and youth group tours benefit from discounted admissions, as well as a private Powerplant Tour of the dam. There are also several spaces for corporate conferences and wedding receptions, if you’re looking for something less glitzy than a Vegas resort for your event.
Bus Tip: Only buses without luggage are allowed to enter the dam site, and all buses are subject to inspection by officers. Carry-ons such as small backpacks are ok to bring. Please coordinate with your driver and passengers to make sure inspection goes off without a hitch!
Arrange to be picked up and dropped off at the designated parking lots. Oversized vehicles must use the lots on the Arizona side of the dam for parking.
Address: Hoover Dam does not have a street address. GPS navigators can use the coordinates N 36.016222, W -114.737245 to locate the site. Alternatively, you can the Bureau of Reclamation’s follow detailed driving directions to Hoover Dam.
