Zoo Fun
When visiting the city, one of the best places that residents, visitors and children like to visit is the Henry Vilas Zoo. This special zoo has been in existence for more than 100 years. Children love to spend hours at the zoo as they learn about new animals and see familiar ones, such as lions, polar bears, toucans and so much more. The zoo continues to add exhibits and various enhancements in order to give each individual an experience he or she will never forget. There are times where people, especially children, can pet certain animals or animal cubs during specific times. Knowledgeable members on staff enable people to see and experience real animals in a controlled environment. While this zoo is certainly unforgettable, it is good to know that it is a free zoo. Of course, you are welcome to make a donation if you want. However, it is not mandatory to give something in order to visit one of the best zoos of the area.
