Though this is a public area, it's seems more like a private beach at times. Since most people come to this area for the casinos, it seems there's never a crowd in the waters. One of the reasons why shopping is so big in this area is the fact that it is tax-free. That's right, New Jersey doesn't impose a tax on clothing and shoes. Many people come to the malls around here to fill up on all the things they need at home. They can find the things they need for a better price thanks to the tax break. The Tanger Outlets feature famous stores like Coach, Nike, Under Armour, and more. Other infamous malls in this area include Playground Pier, Hamilton Mall and many more.
