The Content Marketing Specialist will work with the Shofur marketing team to develop effective and impactful content with the goal of driving activity to our sites. S/he will be responsible for executing our content strategies through the creation of industry-focused content.
- Thoroughly research, develop and create high quality content in support of acquisition, retention, and engagement goals for all of Shofur’s properties.
- Utilize data-driven insights and competitive analysis to identify new content opportunities.
- Collaborate with Content Marketing peers to edit content produced by team for grammar, overall concept clarity and company goals.
- Contribute to the growth of the company’s social media initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to research unfamiliar topics and create an article that demonstrates expertise on the subject.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Ability to set and hit a high bar in terms of content quality as well as productivity.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, writing, marketing or related field.
- Positive, problem solving attitude.
- 1-3 years relevant work experience is preferred but aptitude is more important than experience.
- Ability to create and edit graphics is a plus.
- Familiarity with HTML a plus.
- Basic understanding of SEO is a plus.
