In support of the People's Climate Movement, Shofur has pledged to donate $150 to the Natural Resources Defense Council for every bus booked in regard to the Climate March in D.C.
The 2014 People's Climate March in New York City was the biggest climate related march on record, with nearly 400,000 activists in attendance. Due to the number of calls we've received in the past month, we're projecting an even bigger turnout for the 2017 March and couldn't be more excited. We've had people calling from as far as Detroit, Miami and even Phoenix. Since this will be a very busy weekend, we'd recommend that all attendees place their bus rental reservations ASAP to ensure availability.
Dear People's Climate Marchers,
Over the past 4 months, our administration has made it very clear where their priorities lie when it comes to the environment. Instead of making strides to preserve our earth and fight to end the impending climate crisis, they've placed our planet's future in the hands of those with greedy corporate agendas. It's times like these that we must come together and send a bold message to our administration, letting them know that we simply won't stand for this.
As a sign of solidarity for the People's Climate March, we've decided to donate $150 per bus booked to either Natural Resources Defense Council, Sierra Club or the People's Climate Movement (client's choice). We can't think of a better way to show our support for the cause than to give back to the organizations who we feel are making the biggest impact. If your group is interested in booking a charter bus, shuttle, or van to the march, mention this email and we'll make sure to donate on your behalf.
Over 400,000 activists marched in the New York City People's Climate March in 2014 and I'm confident that this event will be even bigger than the first. I'm looking forward to helping you all get to the People's Climate March in April.
